Our products are never tested on our furry little friends (and never will be) and we don't claim this without a certification. We are certified by PETA, Cruelty Free International, Safe Cosmetics Australia to audit what goes into our products and systems.

All of our ingredients are naturally-derived or plant-based - just the way you (and us) like it!

It sure does! You may notice though that our products provides low lather, this is because our genius formulation combines cleansing and conditioning in one action making sure it doesn't strip the natural good oils of your hair and scalp --- just the way it should be.

Double washing ensure that your will get a thorough clean for longer without overwashing. First round essentially loosen the coat/film and get rid of build up, then the second provides the thorough cleansing and nourishing your hair needs. This is important if you are using heavy products on your hair or if you have a oily hair type.

Soap is usually made by combining Sodium Hydroxide (yep similar to what you use as toilet cleaner) and various fats and oils using a process called saponification. The outcome of the soap making process is always alkaline (usually between pH 8-10) which makes it drying and sometimes irritating especially to sensitive skin and delicate hair.

Although our bars resemble a bar of soap, it is created using a different technique and carefully selected mild, plant-based surfactants (yes the one that creates a bubbles, lathers and cleanse) that are non-stripping and non-drying and hence has quite distinct properties and performance.

To put it simply, our bars are cleansers that are non-drying, mild, non-toxic that are natural and plastic-free.

It is all about pH that matches skin's pH.

Now let’s talk about skin natural balance. Human skin is naturally acidic, the pH level of the protective layer of our skin–the acid mantle–falls between 4 to 6.

Anything that touches our skin that is not within this pH level can disturb its natural balance. Strong alkalis and acids can all alter the pH level of our skin.

Our entire range are gently formulated to ensure pH is within this range and without a need for adjustments using strong alkali or acid. Or if we have to, we are using Lactic Acid due to its numerous skin benefits. This makes our bars highly effective in moisturizing the skin, without being harsh or irritating which makes our bars gentle to all
skin types, including sensitive skin.

While we ensure safe levels of essential oils, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding please seek guidance from your medical professionals before you give it a go.

Although we have Allergy-free certification from Safe Cosmetics Australia, some of our formulations include nut oils, so if you have known sensitivities to nuts, we will not recommend our products due to the small risk that may arise from cross contamination.

Prior to use of any of our products, we also recommend to perform a skin patch test and seek medical attention if an allergy occurs.

As our products are not food (non-consumables) we don't use wheat or gluten-based ingredients in any of our ingredients, nor do we test for gluten or wheat. If you have known sensitivities to gluten or wheat, we recommend always patch testing our products before use.

A lot of people are worried when they read the word "fragrance, perfume or parfum" in the ingredients list as nasties are disguised as such.

But never on our case. Have a peace of mind that we used USDA certified organic fragrance powder/oils.

Because safety and quality is non-negotiable.

Most of our products are bars or powders, so don't need preservatives (the absence of water doesn’t support microbial growth). However, it is in our best interest to deliver safe products free from micro contamination, which - trust us - is worse than the natural-based preservatives we used. It is proven to be very safe and we always use it at safe levels.

It's the seeded seal in our bars or the seeds provided at the bottom of the box of our powder products.

Simply our treat to you! There are a variety of seeds in the paper stock that we use such as garden flower mix, herb mix, salad mix and native bottlebrush. The name of the seeds are printed in the paper seal or you can find them at the bottom of our refill packs. Plant it the way you normally plant a seed - happy planting!

Our formulations are pH-balanced and are generally safe for colour-tretead hair. While most of our products aren’t as harsh as liquid shampoo (which can strip colour from your hair), they won’t prolong colour vibrancy.
